Key Responsibilities
Process London Market Insurance underwriting data following established procedural guides.
Analyse technical data and calculate transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.
Manage internal and external queries to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data processing.
Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.
Organise documentation to facilitate smooth data processing.
Contribute to internal and external (client) reporting.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Relevant experience within the insurance sector
Strong attention to detail with a focus on service quality and client satisfaction.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team.
Capability to provide training, support, and guidance to colleagues.
Strong planning and organizational skills. Strong understanding of the insurance market, structure, practices, and regulations.
Familiarity with services provided by PCIS and specifically UWIS.
Experience with direct and reinsurance placements.
Ability to interpret insurance documentation and data accurately.
Knowledge of relevant classes of business and the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with client operations and underwriting teams.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above, including Mathematics and English.
Willingness to pursue relevant CII qualifications.
