Network Optimization Manager at ADM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a forward-thinking, transformation-driven leader to join us as the Network Optimization Manager ADM’s Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE).

This role will lead efforts in evaluating, designing, and optimizing the performance of our manufacturing and warehousing networks, as well developing manufacturing asset master plans. This cross-functional role requires strong data analysis, systems thinking, Knowledge of Llamasoft modelling tool, and cross-business collaboration to ensure that our networks—whether physical, digital, or logistical—are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

This person will have accountability for identifying and delivering value generating initiatives that will require the design and implementation of business specific, and enterprise-wide solutions, that enable and support current and forward-looking/multi-year Global Supply Chain strategy.

You’ll use advanced analytics, simulations, and optimization techniques to model complex systems, evaluate strategic trade-offs, and deliver actionable insights to cross-functional leaders. This is a high-impact role requiring technical fluency, business acumen, and the ability to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze and Optimize Networks: Evaluate existing network structures (e.g., manufacturing plants, distribution centers, service locations, digital infrastructures) for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

· Cross-Business Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across different business units to identify pain points, gather requirements, and implement cross-functional solutions.

· Modeling & Simulation: Use tools and models (e.g. Llamasoft) to simulate network scenarios, forecast impacts, and guide data-driven decision-making.

· Business Processes Analysis and Communication : Lead and support processes and network analysis to understand the needs of the business segments and enterprise, translating those needs into clear/model-based recommendations and solutions for stakeholders.

· Cost and Performance Improvements: Identify opportunities for consolidation, route optimization, infrastructure investments, or service level improvements.

· Asset Master Plans: Coordinate the long-term asset master plans for our manufacturing and warehousing sites, getting inputs from future business demand and investments required in infrastructure to deliver that customer demand.

· Technology & Tools Integration: Collaborate with IT and data teams to implement or enhance tools that support network visibility, automation, and decision-making.

· KPIs & Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators for network efficiency, responsiveness, and service quality.

· Change Management: Support change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of new processes, tools, and systems. Drive user adoption and resolve any challenges during the transition period.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in network optimization, operations strategy, or a related field.

· Proven track record of improving network performance across different business models.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar) and optimization platforms (e.g., Llamasoft, AnyLogic, GIS tools).

· Experience with scenario modeling and cost-benefit analysis.

· Excellent project management and communication skills.
