Job Title: Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support ongoing initiatives within our team. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and collaborating with technical leads to deliver insightful data analysis. The BI Analyst will be responsible for creating reports, designing data visualizations, and recommending improvements to optimize business processes based on data-driven insights.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

Work Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on analytics experience

• Experience working with senior executives and distilling business requirements into tangible analytics deliverables.

   

Technology Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar analytical role

• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel)

• Strong analytical skills and experience in data modeling and analysis

• Ability to collaborate across teams with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong communication skills for presenting findings in a clear, actionable manner

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Experience with data reporting, dashboard design, and business process optimization

   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

• Experience with ETL processes and managing large datasets

• Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a plus Ability to handle multiple task assignments

   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Engage with internal business teams to understand their objectives and define BI requirements to support their initiatives.

• Gather Requirements and Technical Needs: Work with business leaders to document functional and technical needs, ensuring alignment between business goals and data solutions.

• Collaborate with Technical Leads: Partner with technical teams to ensure accurate data collection, processing, and modeling, helping translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Analyze Data: Analyze internal data to identify key trends, insights, and areas for improvement, supporting decision-making across departments.

• Design Data Visualizations: Create clear, actionable, and visually engaging data visualizations to present findings in an accessible format for stakeholders.

• Create and Share Reports: Generate regular reports for internal teams, summarizing important metrics, KPIs, and offering actionable recommendations.

• Analyze and Recommend Process Improvements: Evaluate business processes and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
