Registered Nurse – Hospice - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Location: Memphis TN
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $2,212 /week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) 

Position Summary

The Hospice Registered Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses. This role focuses on symptom management, emotional support, and ensuring comfort for patients and their families during end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or designated care facilities.
• Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments for pain and symptom control.
• Educate patients and families on disease progression, care options, and emotional support resources.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN required.
• License: Current RN license in [State/Region].
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Hospice and Palliative Care Certification preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; hospice or home health experience preferred.
