Job Summary:

Customizes recruitment efforts to ensure the organization consistently hires excellent applicants and fosters the organization's mission by delivering the integrated recruitment process. Acts as recruitment point of contact for the team and manages relationships with designated staff. Acts as a technical subject matter expert in own and possibly related discipline(s).

This is a full time, temporary position through March 2026. 

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree with coursework in human resources or business administration: Preferred
  • Five years' of talent acquisition experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP): Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Delivers integrated recruitment services and consults with hiring managers to identify position needs, develop sourcing strategies, screen, interview and recommend candidates for employment. Communicates wage evaluation results and makes employment offers. Brings Sourcing and Coordination resources into the process at the right time. Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Builds talent pipelines through deepening community and academic institution relationships by participating in job fairs, and developing promotional material and social media tools. Evaluates effectiveness of outreach strategies. Recommends improvements and new approaches. Acts as a mentor to designated department staff and maintains responsibility for training new hires to the Talent Acquisition Team.
  • Uses various information system tools to manage the integrated recruitment process by accurately entering data and generating reports. Provides quality report analysis to support actionable decision making. Assists the Community of Expertise (CoE) by providing regular reporting on issues, trends and feedback.
  • Identifies process and procedure improvement opportunities. Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory updates as they relate to talent acquisition processes/procedures to keep compliant. Serves on teams planning and implementing continuous improvement of processes including the customer and candidate experience. Performs a variety of complex duties requiring specialized or generalist knowledge. Makes recommendations on complex issues regarding work, often in ambiguous situations.
  • Participates in workforce planning meetings and applies comprehension of the relationship between strategic goals and staffing needs. Collaborates with key stakeholders to design strategies and timelines for pipeline building.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
