Position – Cybersecurity Architect

Roles & Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001,PCI).
• Design secure solutions for on-prem, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), networks, applications, and data flows.
• Define and approve security patterns, reference architectures, and guardrails.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments for new and existing projects.
Security Engineering & Technology
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies (IAM, PAM, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, CNAP WAF, API Security).
• Design secure cloud infrastructure using native and third-party solutions.
• Develop automation, dashboards, and integrations to improve security posture.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, guidelines depending on region).
• Create and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform gap assessments and propose remediation plans.
Collaboration & Advisory
• Act as the security SME for engineering, DevOps, cloud, and application teams.
• Participate in solution design discussions and provide secure-by-design recommendations.
• Work closely with product teams to embed security into SDLC and DevSecOps pipelines.
Incident Response & Monitoring
• Support threat detection strategy, logging standards, and SIEM use-case design.
• Advise on incident response plans and participate in major incident investigations.
• Review security events and recommend architecture-level improvements.
Must have skills:
10-14 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 8+ years in an architect role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud security, identity & access management, and encryption.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture, micro-segmentation, and API security.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, OCI
• Strong understanding of software architecture (REST, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Experience with risk assessment, security design reviews, and threat modelling (STRIDE,MITRE).
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CISM, AWS/Azure Security Certifications.
•Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of OT/IoT security
