Join the Team: Night Lead Supervisor
Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area, Boise National Forest, ID | Seasonal, Winter Operating Season
Are you a natural leader who thrives in evening operations and enjoys keeping things running smoothly after dark? At Bogus Basin, the largest nonprofit Mountain Recreation Area in the nation, we offer a unique space where community meets the mountain. We’re seeking a Night Lead Supervisor to oversee nightly Food & Beverage operations across multiple lodges, ensuring exceptional service, safety, and efficiency. This position will also operate the PM staff van, transporting team members to and from the mountain.
Why Bogus Basin?
Where Mountain Life Meets City Living:
Work at a four-season mountain recreation area while living in Boise—one of the fastest-growing, most livable cities in the U.S. With a thriving downtown, welcoming neighborhoods, and an energetic arts and dining scene, Boise pairs urban life with quick access to the outdoors, just 16 miles from the slopes.
Mission-Driven, Community-Focused:
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Bogus Basin is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable outdoor recreation, education, and community programming year-round. Every dollar earned is reinvested into the mountain and its people, not shareholders. Our values of kindness, respect, professionalism, and fun create a workplace where everyone is welcome.
Unbeatable Access to the Outdoors:
Located in the Boise National Forest, Bogus Basin offers year-round activities: skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and tubing in the winter; mountain biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides in the summer. Employees enjoy the perks of mountain life while being part of a community-oriented team.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As the Night Lead Supervisor, you’ll oversee evening Food & Beverage operations at two lodges, ensuring all teams close safely, efficiently, and to Bogus Basin standards. You’ll monitor nightly staffing, assist with operational needs, and ensure facilities are clean and secure before departure. You’ll also operate the PM staff van, transporting employees safely to and from the mountain, and serve as the primary on-site contact for night operations.
A Day (and Night) in the Life
Your shift begins as daytime operations start winding down. You’ll check in with venue supervisors, monitor staffing levels, and ensure evening teams have what they need to finish strong. As guests enjoy dining and evening activities, you’ll circulate between lodges to support teams, resolve guest concerns, and ensure smooth communication. At closing, you’ll verify cleaning and shutdown procedures are completed, assist with final cash handling, and transport team members safely down the mountain.
