Procurement and Sourcing Manager at Stonbury Limited

Overview:

We’re seeking a Procurement and Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain team.

 

In this role, you’ll lead both strategic sourcing and operational buying.

 

• Up to £65k doe + a company car or car allowance

What you'll be doing:Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and operational buying to enable the Delivery Team to meet project objectives consistently & sustainably whilst meeting long-term EBITDA & ESG objectives.  • Strategic sourcing – identify and onboard quality suppliers • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to the Supply Chain team to ensure efficient day-to-day procurement operations• Operational sourcing – on a project-by-project basis, recommend suitable vendors, for both tender and execution• Obtain competitive pricing to support tenders and bids• Vendor management – support the management of cost, supply risk, H&S & ESG. Manage relationships, performance, development also approval• Cost reduction – actively look for structural changes to reduce costsWho we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a buying / sourcing processes

• Relevant Procurement or Civils qualification
• Understanding of best value (Price, quality, service & sustainability)
• Previous experience in a construction or civils environment

• Ability to build strong relationships
• Strong negotiation skills
