The Real Deal is seeking a dynamic, highly organized professional to work directly with our Chief Sales Officer in New York City. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity for a driven individual to learn the inner workings of high-level media sales, help scale a top-performing book of business, and contribute to the success of key strategic accounts.
This role blends strategic sales operations, client management, and executive support. You’ll help manage relationships with top advertisers and partners, ensure flawless execution across campaigns, and keep high-priority initiatives moving forward.
What You'll Do:
Act as the right hand to the Chief Sales Officer, supporting day-to-day priorities and long-term business development goals.
Liase on deliverables for select key accounts — ensuring campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorships run smoothly.
Working with various teams to assist with attendee acquisition for business dinners, leadership events, and client experiences, ensuring each guest list aligns with strategic business objectives.
Prepare and refine pitch materials, client recaps, and sales decks for high-level presentations.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, maintain calendar and communications, and ensure all prep materials are ready in advance.
Track and update CRM data, pipeline activity, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with internal teams — marketing, events, editorial, and production — to ensure client commitments are fulfilled.
Assist with on-site client engagement at major industry events, sponsorships, and networking functions.
Research new business opportunities and help identify emerging advertising categories or partnership prospects.
Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems to maximize efficiency for the Chief Sales Officer.
What You Bring:
At least 2 years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, or sales support.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable interacting with senior executives and clients.
Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), PowerPoint/Keynote, and Excel.
Proficiency in Powerpoint is a must
Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a bias toward action.
Comfortable in high-expectation, performance-driven environments.
Must be based in New York City and able to work from The Real Deal’s office.
