General Information Team: No Product Close date: Wednesday, 31 December 2025 Working pattern: Full time Contract Type: Permanent Location: Gurgaon (SEZ1) Department: 89 - 89 People & Culture Description & Requirements:Position PurposeReporting to the People system Manager, based in Sydney, the Senior People system analyst is needed to provide expert systems support with Workday and other integrated systems as needed.One component of this role is to help optimize the Workday system by streamlining business processes and enabling enhancements such as reporting automation and dashboards, providing coaching and guidance to the broader team, training and presenting to business and People & Culture stakeholders and ticket resolution.The Senior People Systems Analyst will also be required to support other People related systems and tools including survey tool, recruitment, remuneration and consolidate and provide reporting and key People & Culture metrics.What you will be doing:The Senior Workday Analyst serves as a functional and technical expert for Workday HCM and related modules. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimize system functionality, configure enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and drive Workday best practices. The ideal candidate has deep Workday knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration & ConfigurationLead configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday modules such as HCM, Talent, Absence, and Compensation.Manage Workday security, business processes and reporting.Evaluate existing configurations and recommend optimizations aligned with business strategy and Workday best practices.Support & TroubleshootingServe as the primary escalation point for Workday issues and inquiries.Diagnose root causes, resolve system errors, and coordinate fixes with IT or internal teams.Maintain data integrity through audits, validation, and quality checks.Enhancements & ProjectsLead Workday enhancement cycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.Manage semi-annual Workday releases, assess tenant impacts, and communicate changes to stakeholders.Support system-related HR initiatives such as process improvements, workflow automation, and new module implementations.Reporting & AnalyticsBuild advanced custom reports, dashboards, metrics, and scorecards using Workday Reporting.Provide actionable analytics and insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders.Ensure compliance with data governance and confidentiality standards.Stakeholder CollaborationPartner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to understand operational needs and deliver effective Workday solutions.Train end users, develop documentation, and enhance Workday adoption across the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience using Workday tools.Qualifications and OR skillsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including configuration and administration.Expertise in at least two Workday modules (e.g., HCM Core, Compensation, Absence, Payroll and Talent).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.Experience with Workday report writing and complex calculated fields.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.PreferredWorkday Pro or Workday certification(s).Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio).Familiarity with release management processes and Workday tenants (sandbox, preview, production).Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Core CompetenciesAttention to detail and commitment to data accuracyAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong business acumen and understanding of organizational prioritiesCollaborative and proactive partnership mindsetContinuous improvement mentality Share this job:
