Site Reliability Engineer

Then our Post-Trading Applications Operations team at BME-SIX wants to hear from you!
We are a collaborative and forward-thinking team responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of post-trading platforms. As part of our modernization journey, we are adopting cloud-native technologies, microservices architectures, and advanced observability practices. In this role, you will be part of the operations team, working closely with development and architecture to ensure operational excellence and knowledge sharing across teams.
You will act as a senior technical reference, helping the team understand and adopt new technologies and operational models.
What You Will Do
- Act as a Site Reliability Engineer within the operations team, sharing expertise on modern tools and practices to strengthen operational capabilities.
- Support the adoption and integration of DevOps and automation technologies such as OpenShift, Git, ArgoCD, Elastic Stack, Patrol, Ansible.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure operational readiness and reliability of microservices-based applications.
- Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of automation, observability, and resilience across the post-trading application landscape.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience operating and supporting complex, business-critical applications, ideally in financial services.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and automation tools (OpenShift, ArgoCD, Elastic Stack, Ansible, Git, and related technologies).
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and guide others in adopting new tools and practices.
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD principles, and SRE methodologies.
- Languages: Fluent in English (verbal and written) and Spanish (proficiency).
