The Role
As a part of Cameco’s Human Resources department, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for disability case-management on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role, you will:
- Provide coaching and direction on Cameco’s disability management program and processes, as well as support Cameco’s health, wellness, and accommodation programs.
- Ensure the timely and consistent administration of disability-related absences.
- Support the development and management of return-to-work plans.
- Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and site nurses, along with external healthcare providers and benefit vendors.
- Build positive relationships with a broad range of individuals to support disability-related inquiries.
- Effectively use technology tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and employee database systems.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience could be considered
- Up to three years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Recommended:
- Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) designation and/or Certified Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC) designation
- SuccessFactors experience
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
