YOUR OPPORTUNITY
This exciting new role in the Brand Homes team gives you ownership of our e-commerce offering. You will maintain the brand loyalty we generate during a visit and provide our digital guests with the same personal service offered in our onsite shop.
In addition to, packaging and despatching orders with care, you will work alongside our commercial and marketing teams to manage stock levels and mechanise the online store.
ABOUT YOU
You will need a keen attention to detail, ensuring everything from product descriptions, engravings and postal addresses are correct.
The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging orders and proactively checking any issues with the customer. This role also includes checking copy, creating new products and working with the marketing team on blogs and special offers.
The ideal candidate should understand what makes the whisky consumer tick and be able to deliver an online shopping experience that builds loyalty and keeps them returning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for delivering an industry leading digital shopping experience
· Monitor the digital shopfront and keep descriptions, prices and other content up-to-date
· Collate and package orders to a high standard, but with an eye on reducing excess waste packaging.
· Provide the same high standard of customer service that we offer instore. Working with the delivery partner and other colleagues to resolve any issues quicky.
· Working with the commercial team to manage stock levels and ensure appropriate products are featured. Act like a founder to manage Gross Profit of every sale.
· Creating inspiring collections and bundle products that will excite our shoppers.
· Supporting the marketing team during promotions to bring their vision to life.
· Following licensing laws, and our responsible drinking principles at all times.
· Follow Health and Safety Guidelines and procedures.
· Support the whole Brand Home business by supporting the retail, experiential, advocacy and F&B teams as required. Share and steal best practice with pride to ensure the highest standards of guest experience and maximise profitability.
SKILLS
· Good digital skills with the ability to operate back-end computer programs (Shopify and courier interface).
· Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
· Knowledge of the whisky market and what motivates consumers is desired but not essential.
· Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as needed.
