We are looking for an enthusiastic IT placement student to join our team specializing in (Systems/Information Technology) for our (Corporate/CBS Business Unit ) in (Daventry, United Kingdom) During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026. The requirement of the role is to be fully onsite Monday to Friday 8am-4pm for the best experience so you must be able to travel or relocate to the location.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Maintain and support existing IT systems. By performing authorized changes and upgrades to existing systems inclusive of root-cause analysis to identify issues.  maintain SLA by resolving issues quickly and efficiently
  • Performs preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks, monitors system performance and accuracy.
  • Supporting projects or initiatives from inception to completion, whilst attending and adding professional value to the meeting and relevant information for the IT side.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on site, supporting Manufacturing IT and Business Unit IT teams where required.
  • Managing, maintaining and auditing site stock levels, ensuring assets are available for use with the latest version installed.
  • Will work with the IT Operations teams to coordinate and support developments and changes required at the local site
  • Providing updates to audiences during larger IT issues, ensuring customers are clearly made aware of the issue and updated regularly to manage expectations.
  • Assist in SharePoint, Service NOW, Excel, front end IT system maintenance and development.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Studying towards a degree in Information Technology. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical faults.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous work experience with customer focus would be beneficial.
