About the role:
Are you an experienced and results-driven professional with a passion for quality, safety, and operational excellence in surface preparation and industrial coatings? We are seeking a Paint & Blast Manager to lead our projects and teams, ensuring high industry standards and efficiency in workflow execution.

As a Paint & Blast Manager, you will bring your technical expertise, leadership skills, and focus on continuous improvement to oversee projects from tender scoping to successful delivery. This role requires on-site travel for site visits, tenders, project mobilisation, and kick-off meetings.

Key Responsibilities

·         Oversee quality and safety standards in surface preparation and industrial coatings projects.

·         Drive high performance across workflows, ensuring compliance with UGL and industry standards.

·         Provide technical guidance and leadership across multiple sites.

·         Identify and implement opportunities for process optimisation and greater operational efficiency.

·         Collaborate closely with teams to evaluate and adopt new methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

·         Support and develop talent within teams, fostering technical growth and skill advancement.

·         Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and proactively resolve technical challenges.

·         Scope tenders/proposals, ensuring accurate alignment with client needs and specifications.

·         Lead project mobilisation and kick-off activities, setting expectations and driving successful execution.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

·         Certification NACE 2 or AMPP SCIP is mandatory.

·         Extensive trade experience, with expertise in surface preparation and industrial coatings using diverse techniques, tools, and products.

·         Proven track record in supervising and motivating teams to succeed in project execution.

·         Commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring operational accountability.

·         Ability to assess project requirements and deliver comprehensive, client-aligned tender proposals.

Desirable:

·         Practical Rope Access experience or knowledge is advantageous.
