This position is remote, but you must live within 30 minutes of one of our Florida branches.

Position Details

Location: Remote (must reside in Florida and live within 30 minutes of a Concierge Home Care branch office)
 Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 
 Compensation: $21-$23/hour, based on experience

Your Role as an Intake Portal Processor

As an Intake Portal Processor, you’ll play a vital role as the first step in the patient care process. You will manage incoming referrals, ensure all required documents and orders are complete, and collaborate with internal teams to provide a smooth, efficient intake experience for patients and referral partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process new patient intakes and verify all required information is complete and accurate
• Conduct insurance eligibility and benefit checks
• Navigate EMR systems and payer portals efficiently
• Communicate effectively with operations, sales, and referral sources to ensure timely coordination
• Manage and reconcile insurance changes on a weekly basis
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards at all times

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of recent experience navigating medical insurance verification and eligibility
• At least 1 year of recent experience working with multiple EMR platforms and insurance portals
• At least 1 year of recent medical referral processing
• Access to a quiet, HIPAA-compliant workspace, as this is a remote position
• Compensation: $21-$23/hour based on experience
• Must reside in Florida
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Clinical background, like LPN or MA (preferred).
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and insurance portals (preferred)
