POSITION SUMMARY

Perform accounting and various tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. These include, but are not limited to, creating and distributing customer invoices, managing A/R aging and collection of past due balances, processing vendor invoices for payment, and any other tasks so directed as it relates to A/R and A/P.

Essential Functions Statement (s)

  • Utilize software programs like Quickbooks, Beanworks, Excel, Word, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat PRO to perform duties and responsibilities, with intermediate level of proficiency.
  • Maintain Accurate Billing Templates to record revenue by contract details.
  • Maintain Customer Contract Files.
  • Generate Invoices in Quickbooks and distribute to customers.
  • Generate Monthly Accounts Receivable reports and distribute them.
  • Process cash receipts, credit card payments, posting of receipts.
  • Reconcile credit card statements.
  • Assist with bank account reconciliation.
  • Set up vendor invoices for payment.
  • Maintain Vendor accounts.
  • Multitude of other duties as directed by the Accounting Manager and leadership.
  • Other duties as directed

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education: Requires an associate degree in accounting, finance, or other related field OR 2 years of work experience in a related field on a year for year basis.

  • Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.

  • Dependability: Demonstrated ability to consistently be at work and on time as scheduled, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance.
