JOB PURPOSE:

The AI and Data Products Lifecycle Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the processes that enable the development, deployment, a of AF’s AI solutions and Data products. This role is critical in the evolution of AF’s current product line towards AI-powered capabilities based on data insights.
As part of an AI-powered solution designing and implementation organization, this role will partner with AF’s stakeholders to identify the processes required to identify opportunities for the application of AI capabilities, definition of data products that seamlessly integrates with our members’ systems, and the modernization and modularization of our current architecture via re-engineering and shifting functional architectures to cloud.
The AI and Data Products Lifecycle Manager is accountable for the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of processes within the Data Insights and Innovation team, partnering with other areas of the organization to ensure an end-to-end approach to solutions lifecycle. This role is the single point of contact for process-related matters and ensures the process meets performance targets, complies with regulations, and supports strategic objectives.
The AI and Data Products Lifecycle Manager is a critical player in AF’s journey to data-driven and AI-powered innovation, identifying and implementing ways of working to enable the design, development, and implementation of complete and interoperable functional and technical capabilities. This role has people management responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies, defines, and documents the process flow, roles, inputs, outputs, and KPIs for the development, deployment, and maintenance of AI and Data products.
- Monitors and tracks process performance using metrics and dashboards and identifies gaps and inefficiencies.
- Creates roll out plans for processes, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on process implementation plans.
- Defines roles and responsibilities in process execution, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the critical role played in the quality of AF’s solutions.
- Identifies and implements tools or automation to enhance process performance.
- Leads initiatives to optimize process efficiency, quality, and agility using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Ensures that processes defined and implemented are fit-for-purpose.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and compliance, to align process goals.
- Leads training and communication initiatives to ensure all stakeholders understand the process and are trained on updates or changes.
- Collaborates with Compliance, Risk Management, and Data Governance to ensure that processes adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
- Partners with Risk Management support audits on Data Insights and Innovation processes.
- Owns and operates the technology and tools required to execute the processes, with a focus on defining how the tools are used to support processes.
- Defines best practices for the generation and maintenance of functional roadmaps for AI solutions that prioritize the highest value items while removing technical debt.
- Partners with Data Architects, Cloud and Data Engineers and AI Engineers to generate strategies for the definition of AI and Data products, with a focus on progressive functionality deployment and modularization.
- Partner with PMO to define and manage the orchestration of activities to ensure alignment of AI product architecture, software engineering and implementation across the AI and Data product lifecycle.
- Lead the planification effort of AI-based initiatives, including timeframes and deliverables, and work closely with Advanced Analytics, IT, Marketing, Operations, and AI COE to ensure capacity is reserved and obstacles that derail delivery are addressed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and orchestrate strategies for the success of members’ implementations, including reviewing solution paths and roadmaps.
- Support and enable processes for the identification and prioritization of AI-powered use cases to ensure the integrity of the solutions.
- Partner with AI and Data QA Engineers and IT QA Testers to ensure that the AI and Data product testing practice is efficient, cost-effective, and automated.
QUALIFICATIONS
- More than 10 years of experience in the development, deployment, and implementation of software solutions.
- More than 8 years of experience in process management, product management, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Experience with technology driven transformations.
- Deep understanding of process definition, implementation, and management methodologies.
- Proficiency in the definition and implementation of prioritization frameworks.
- Functional knowledge of the development process for AI solutions and data products with a high level of configurability.
- Working knowledge of process management tools.
- Proficiency in the operations of a not-for-profit organization.
- Knowledge of advanced data analytics platforms and visualization tools to create reports and dashboards in a self-service approach.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of solution development organizations, especially in agile development methods.
- Understanding of the components of an AI solution, and the development life cycle of AI models.
- Experience in the process of defining data products.
- Working knowledge of cloud services with a focus on MS Azure.
- Experience with software testing processes and automation of test cases.
- Proficiency in process management tools and content management systems.
