CAMPBELL COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL
Campbell County High School, a 6A school (largest class, 1500 students) in Alexandria, Kentucky, is seeking qualified applicants for its head football coaching position. This person should hold a valid Kentucky teaching certificate or be able to obtain a valid Kentucky certificate and at minimum have experience as a high school coordinator or in college coaching.
TITLE: Head Football Coach
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Certified employee of Campbell County Schools
2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Principal or, if so directed by the Principal, the Athletic Director
SUPERVISES: Entire football program
JOB GOAL: To provide a safe and well-planned student program, to increase student participation and enjoyment, and reduce the chance of injury
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate day to day activities
- Organize the entire program
- Implement rules that coincide with the school’s rules
- Encourage students to participate
- Advertise and announce upcoming events
- Advertise and announce results of events
- Manage equipment and supplies of the program
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of materials
- Cooperate with the school administration
- Provide student sign-up sheets
- Provide insurance waiver forms
- Collects insurance fees
- Collect physical forms and turn into Athletic Director
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Principal or Athletic Director from time to time
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work schedule to be established. (See Board approved scheduling)
