Annual Salary Range: $84,659 - $92,701 plus superannuation

Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-time

Location: Sydney (office attendance is 3 days per week)

 

About the team

The NSW Personal Injury Commission (Commission) is recruiting for a Administrative Officer to join the Member Support Team.

The Administrative Officer will provide administrative and operation support to the Member Support Team, the Commission’s Division Heads, Members and Mediators.

This is a great opportunity for an Administrative Officer with strong administration experience and attention to detail to utilise these skills to contribute to the operations of the Commission and the decision-making process.

Ideal candidate

This opportunity would suit a motivated Administrative Officer who has the ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment with very high attention to detail.

They would provide support to the Member Support Team and work across a broad range of tasks. You will be responsible for:

  • Review and editing of decisions in line with the Commission’s Decision Style Guide within the required time frame
  • Maintain records relating to the Commission’s decisions
  • Respond to enquiries from Commission’s members and mediators
  • Monitor the team’s member support and decisions inbox
  • Assist the Commission’s decision makers at first instance with enquiries such as invoice enquiries, templates, access assistance.
  • Administrative support for the Member Support Team

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in providing a variety of administrative support services with competing priorities and be capable of working independently without direction
  • Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality and have a proven high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrate high level written communication skills
  • Work in a team collaboratively
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritise outcomes and respond flexibly to changing circumstances
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
  • Demonstrate a high level of skills across a range of Microsoft applications
  • Have excellent communication and relationships building skills and the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
