Position Summary:

•    Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.  
•    Ensures that bar stations are maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion adhering to all safety and health regulations and standards.
•    Ensures that beverage stations are properly stocked and all products are fresh, rotated and properly stored.
•    Responsible for stocking supplies, ice, cleaning bar areas, washing and stocking glassware.
•    Responsible for preparing garnishes and preparing mixes.

Essential Functions:

1.    Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s “Winning Attitude” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s 5-Star Service Standards at all times.
2.    Responsibilities including but not limited to:

•  Greet guests verbally with a warm welcome and introduce yourself.
•  Ensure that all patrons are of legal drinking age and that they are not over served following procedures detailed in the TIPS training program.
• Ensure that beverage stations are properly stocked and that products are fresh and rotated.
• Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
•  Ensure that condiments are stocked and cut when needed and fresh.
•  Ensure appropriate levels of glassware are available.
•  Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly including glass washers, ice machines, blenders, POS system, liquor dispensing system and coolers. 
• Follow established side work duties.
•  Answer phones and provide information when needed.
•  At times may be required to take orders, prepare drinks to TV specifications and record transactions into the Info Genesis System following established Thunder Valley procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
2.    Must be certified in a Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA) approved alcohol awareness course.
3.    Must be at least 21 years of age
4.    Ability to obtain / renew all required licenses or certification specifically Tribal Gaming License and TIPS certification.

Physical Requirements:
1.    Requires normal, corrected vision range, the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
2.    Requires bending and reaching for supplies and equipment.
3.    Requires the ability to communicate fluently in English.
4.    Team Members may be required to bend, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
