Lakes Region Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only.
CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.
We have a need for an instructor for the following courses in our Culinary Arts program:
Spring 2026 Daytime Class � In Person
HOS113L Introduction to Worldwide Cuisine
On-Campus daytime class (Thursdays 8am � 230pm)
January 20, 2026 - May 9, 2026
Course Description: The student will apply concepts and skills learned in Culinary Fundamentals and expand knowledge of the restaurant setting. A six-hour lab will focus on international cuisine with a separate cuisine featured on each week�s menu. Costing, purchasing, menu terminology, quality recipe production and kitchen organization are stressed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor�s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts. Possession of a Bachelor�s degree in Education shall require an Associate�s degree in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts.
Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts, two years of which shall have been in the supervision of students or personnel in educational activities or academic program administration or six (6) years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts, two years� which shall have been in the supervision of personnel or program/project administration.
License/Certification: Valid driver�s license required.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Moodle, Google Classroom, Blackboard, etc.

Salary: The compensation rate is $850-$1000 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
