Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR)
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
The PSSR is responsible for maintaining and developing Normet’s customer experience. This relationship is supported by active involvement in both parts and service sales. Special attention is needed with inventory planning, parts consumption, training, and service requirements at the mine site level while being an active account management team member.

Services Manager, North America
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Business Growth and Functional
- Execution of the sales strategy for parts and services, growth within current and new customer base, building on strong market intelligence
- Active management in customer planning with spare parts, consumption levels, and portfolio offerings available within Normet
- Overall rapport building with customers, developing a profitable business relationship
- Responsible for leading and delivering on customer-specific monthly revenue targets
- Identify gaps in customer purchasing behavior and work to create solutions to penetrate new sales
- Active involvement with recommended spare parts lists and total cost of ownership modeling, pursuit of rental and used equipment opportunities
- Assist in backlog management of parts to customers – working with internal and external solutions to mitigate shortages
- Execution of customer meetings on-site and through remote application: pre-planning, post-meeting review, and task assignments of resulting actions including preparing quotes and proposals
- Provide feedback to engineering & production regarding quality, parts reliability, and service with an understanding of bringing forward the voice of the customer
- Active management in updating the customer fleet status and operating hours within Normet systems
Financials
- Assist with forecasting, aligned with expected growth and actual order intake, against historical spend
- Responsible to develop and execute the sales plan in a profitable and accountable fashion
Stakeholder Management
- Customer-focused to positively support the growth of Normet
- Customers include both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to conduct work professionally
- Interacts with the equipment sales team, ensuring proper collaboration and account management development
- Develop and collect market knowledge. Identify and review the competition and relay this information to the Normet Sales and Service Teams
HSEQ – Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
- Complies with all Normet policies regarding HSEQ and ensures compliance with team members
- Active participant in ensuring Normet operations and products support HSEQ initiatives
- Provide support for risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and be responsible for reporting improvements as needed
- Ability to support the creation and updating of HSEQ documentation where applicable
Personal Responsibility
- Ensures compliance to Normet Values, & Normet Policies and Procedures
- Continuous improvement journey with behaviors supporting improved product knowledge, learning and development, and competency training
- Stays current with industry developments, competitive offerings, and issues affecting sales and customers
- Retain existing industry certifications, and where applicable acquire updates and advancement
- Active contributor and team member in both the sales and service teams in North America
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mining and aftermarket sales support
- Capacity to operate in a demanding environment with competing priorities
- Willing to travel up to 75% within the USA

- An elevated level of responsiveness, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Detail orientation, financial acumen, a strong command of sales tools and account management
- Excellence in written and verbal communication
- Budget/forecasting financial management skills
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- At times, the role will be required to undertake tasks outside of this position description. Taking into consideration the relevant skills and experience at the request of the reporting manager
- This role is to have a normal work week in accordance with regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 40 hours. There may be weekends or longer hours depending on role activities
- Must already have valid work authorization for the USA, and be familiar with underground mining operations, equipment, and heavy equipment maintenance
