Student Support Personnel at Chariho Regional School District

The Chariho Regional School District is currently seeking applicants for a part-time Student Support Personnel. Join a dynamic and award-winning team at Chariho Alternative Learning Academy. Earn $40 per hour working January 26-June 15, 2026. The position offers flexible hours up to 28 hours per week. Candidate’s schedule to be determined with the director. A Bachelor’s degree, or someone currently working towards a degree, in education or counseling and experience working with students in grades 5-12 is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidates should possess a desire to collaborate with, support, and learn from faculty and staff for the benefit of students’ overall performance, including academics and behavior. Duties include, but are not limited to: Supporting students with academic and behavioral interventions. Working cooperatively with administration, teachers, behavior management assistants, and clinical staff. Supporting staff with family outreach. Helping the Job Coach with student placement opportunities and internship supervision. Assisting with social emotional learning/health and wellness activities.
