We are seeking a seasoned Regional Operations Manager (West Coast), ready to hit the ground running. This role provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to wield substantial influence in the success and growth of our organization.
JOB TASKS AND DUTIES
- This position is responsible for managing and supporting several warehouses, within a designated Region, across multiple states.
- Communication with Unit Managers regarding process, process improvements, questions, concerns and general coordination of overall facility responsibilities focusing on performance and execution.
- Troubleshoot problems including customer, system, or operational and provide corrective action in order to resolve.
- Monitor KPI’s (SLA’s) by site; working with those sites who are underperforming in order to rectify and resolve issues that have contributed to underperformance.
- Ensure that all process related to receiving, product put-away, picking and shipping are followed and take corrective action when not followed.
- Work directly with internal and external management to improve customer relationships
- Monitor site cycle count process and accuracy, ensuing that each site performs weekly/monthly counts and rectifies any discrepancies in order to meet SLA’s
- Monitor regional customer asset process. Ensuring that all tagged assets are captured during the receiving and shipping process in order to mitigate at risk liabilities.
- Drive process improvement and standardization across multiple warehouse locations; ensuring that training is completed as needed.
- Drive safety Initiatives across region
- Provide leadership and coaching to Warehouse Managers.
- Monitor site capacity, work with Warehouse Managers and customers to regulate material flow, and identify opportunities to maximize the efficiency of locations, and its processes, in order to minimize constraints.
- Participate in and facilitate customer market meetings.
- Must have the ability to mine and analyze data in order to generate regional reports
- Perform all other duties as required by Management
- Travel at least 25% and up to 50% during peak times
- As needed, respond to emergency market escalations, within 24-hours or less, and as needed by current business conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Knowledge of warehousing operations +5 years of experience.
- Ability to coordinate intra departmental functions, synthesize and meet common objectives
- Leadership experience and capability within project execution and service delivery
- Competent, customer-oriented professional who can multi-task and support multiple geographic locations concurrently.
- Ability to anticipate customer and team needs and provide proactive support.
- Undergraduate degree preferred, or relevant experience in relevant field of study
- Knowledge of and ability to work with WMS software and Microsoft Suite, with focus on Excel super user
