Lido Advisors, LLC, an established and expanding wealth management firm, is actively seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Client Reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in owning and overseeing all performance management activities on a firm-wide scale.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic, performance-driven, fast-paced environment, and committed to managing a team that delivers high-quality, accurate product on a time-sensitive basis. Your daily activities will be diverse, from maintaining and improving the performance reporting software we utilize, to assisting clients with issues, to special projects associated with building an innovative firm. Success in this role entails operating in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, and the capability and willingness to get involved in daily tasks and step in to help the team as necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the performance team, ensuring the reconciliation of valuation and transaction data from external custodians and third parties across a diverse range of financial products, including equity, fixed income, derivatives, and private investments.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate, research, and resolve performance management discrepancies by collaborating with relevant resources across product and functional teams. Proactively address account issues, taking a systematic and analytical approach to problem identification and resolution.
- Report Generation: Oversee the generation and delivery of reports and analyses, maintaining a commitment to providing exceptional client and advisor experience.
- Advisor Support: Respond to escalated technical inquiries concerning client accounts and strategy performance statistics.
- Data Integrity: Develop and implement frameworks and processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of performance-related data, covering valuation/transaction data, offline reporting, account profile data, security attributes, classifications, and indexes.
- Process Improvement: Identify process breakdowns and propose solutions to drive simplification and effectiveness within the functional team, contributing to the continuous improvement of the operational processes.
- Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with performance vendors, ensuring effective partnerships and maximizing the value of external relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar quantitative field
- Achievement of MBA, CPA or CFA Charter preferred
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in performance calculation, investment reporting, portfolio analytics, or similar role
- Experience with performance measurement software such as Addepar, Tamarac, Black Diamond, Orion or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to proactively address issues
- Knowledge of traditional and alternative investment vehicles
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex performance concepts
- Demonstrated ability to focus on and take ownership for results (i.e. deadlines, goal-setting and process improvement).
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and fast paced business environment.
- Advanced MS Office user (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
