About the Role:
Team Clean Inc is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team. This full-time position plays a key role in processing payroll, managing time records, and supporting employee inquiries. If you have experience with ADP, E-Time, and a strong understanding of payroll operations—including union deductions and garnishments—we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in bi-weekly payroll processing by verifying timesheets and employee data.
Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely and accurate payroll submission.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefits.
Handle remittances, deductions, dues, and garnishments.
Process and monitor union benefits and deductions.
Manage E-Time system for time tracking and employee attendance.
Prepare and submit payroll reports as needed.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide employment verifications.
Ensure compliance with all wage and hour laws and company policies.
Qualifications:
1–2 years of payroll or administrative experience preferred.
Proficiency with ADP and E-Time systems required.
Understanding of payroll compliance, deductions, and union processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; payroll certification a plus.
