FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR – Pool Terrace & Reef Lounge (Bar Focus)

Overlooking the sparkling swimming pool at the Reef View Hotel, the Pool Terrace Restaurant offers relaxed all-day dining with a focus on fresh, modern Australian cuisine. Adjacent to the restaurant, the Reef Lounge Bar provides guests with a stylish, laid-back space to enjoy handcrafted cocktails, premium wines, and sunset views.

We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor – Bar Focus to oversee operations across the Pool Terrace bar and Reef Lounge. Your Role

As Bar Supervisor, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations across the Pool Terrace bar and Reef Lounge. You’ll take charge of beverage service, lead the bar team, and ensure each guest enjoys a relaxed yet refined experience.

Where you’ll make an impact

• Lead, train, and inspire the bar team to deliver exceptional service

• Create and serve premium cocktails, wine, and beverages to brand standards

• Maintain bar presentation, stock levels, and product quality

• Support the management team with daily operations and shift supervision

• Ensure compliance with RSA, safety, and hygiene regulations

• Assist in developing beverage menus, promotions, and signature cocktails

• Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and care

• Mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative environment

What we’re looking for

You’re an experienced bar professional with a flair for mixology and a genuine love for guest service. You thrive in a fast-paced resort environment and lead by example to motivate your team.

To be successful, you will need:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bar role in a premium venue

• Extensive cocktail, spirit, and wine knowledge

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• QLD RSA certification (essential)

• Food Safety certification (desirable)

• A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to service excellence
