The Performance and Corporate Reporting team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill a key vacancy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The team plays a critical role in managing the department’s Performance Reporting Framework, ensuring compliance with performance reporting obligations. The team works closely with performance measure owners across the department to ensure all measures meet legislative requirements and collectively provide a clear and comprehensive picture of departmental performance. The team also leads the development and production of key strategic documents, including the department’s Corporate Plan and Annual Report.
What will you do?
You will contribute to the department’s corporate reporting requirements, with typical duties including:
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of the department’s Performance Reporting Framework.
- Collaborating closely with performance measure owners across the department to develop, refine and report on performance measures.
- Monitoring compliance with performance reporting obligations and support internal stakeholders in meeting these requirements, through the provision of advice, facilitation of workshops, and the development of processes, tools and guidance.
- Assisting in the coordination of internal governance processes related to performance reporting.
- Contributing to the development and production of the department’s Corporate Plan and Annual Report.
- Staying up to date with relevant legislation, policy changes, and best practices in public sector performance reporting.
