Role Overview:  The Senior Provider Communications Specialist is responsible for managing all communication initiatives that impact internal and external stakeholders from the provider perspective. This includes coordinating written and online communications for physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid – The associate must be in the office at least three (3) days per week at our Manchester, New Hampshire (NH) location.  

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage communications and educational materials for providers and members to improve compliance with Plan rules and requirements.
  • Develop strategies that engage contracted providers and their staff to act on communications. 
  • Gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs) and prepare tools for Account Executives to educate contracted and non-contracted providers.
  • Oversee the production, posting, and maintenance of Plan resources, including provider manuals, e-business technology, and website content.
  • Partner with the quality team to implement communications that support improved member health outcomes, NCQA accreditation, and HEDIS measures.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and healthcare experience preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in member or provider communications, including content creation and communication material development.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a healthcare or managed care organization, and Medicaid experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Manage competing priorities, keeping track of multiple simultaneous projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Exercise great attention to detail and organizational skills.
