Who we are looking for.

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Application Lead with 15+ years’ experience to join our Global Credit Finance Technology Team . The candidate will play a key role in designing and optimizing software applications, providing innovative solutions and co-ordinate work effort with business, technology and support teams. The position is in Boston, MA.

 

What you will be responsible for

The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of Global Credit Finance applications using Azure, Databricks, Java, Python, PySpark, and SQL technologies. The individual will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, unit testing, and production deployment.

  • Participate in scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, and production deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation.
  • Document and interact with business and technology stake holders/team members as necessary.
  • Ensure all technical solutions exhibit higher level of efficiency, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for adopting new tools and technologies to improve our technology stack.
  • Develop oneself into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Technical and Functional domain areas.

What we value

  • Application development experience in financial services with hands on designing, developing, and deploying complex applications. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements in a technical design and through to implementation.

  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver, organized, collaborative with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle for Iterative, Agile, and traditional approaches.
  • Experience working with global development teams across different geographies and time zones.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience
  • 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries
  • Experience in Java/Python/Scala/Unix/Shell programming
  • Experience in data analysis, data exploration and data modeling
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment
  • Experience in Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience in Credit Finance business domain

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $187,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
