About the Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Program Director to lead the design, growth, and execution of programs that empower innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers—both within the university and across the broader community.

This is not a typical administrative role. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of creativity and execution—able to build programs from the ground up, forge partnerships with industry, and drive real impact through measurable outcomes. You’ll be responsible for cultivating a thriving ecosystem that connects students, startups, and partners to resources, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Grow Programs: Design, launch, and scale programs that accelerate innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture development.
  • Ecosystem Building: Develop strong partnerships with entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, and community organizations to expand University’s reach and impact.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee program operations, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
  • Mentorship & Engagement: Connect students, faculty, and founders to mentors and industry experts who can guide idea-to-impact journeys.
  • Innovation Culture: Promote an entrepreneurial mindset across the university through workshops, events, and storytelling.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use data, feedback, and insights to refine existing initiatives and shape new opportunities that align with the University’s strategic vision.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing innovation, startup, or accelerator programs—or building initiatives that connect education with entrepreneurship.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to move fast, pivot effectively, and inspire others to do the same.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across diverse stakeholders.
  • A creative problem solver who loves detail oriented hands-on execution to making things happen.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—whether you’ve built something yourself or helped others do it.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, or a related field preferred.
