DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Associate II to join our Aviation Group in Cary, NC. The selected candidate will contribute to a variety of infrastructure design projects, including airfields and supporting facilities such as access roads, parking lots, and development sites. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects in a collaborative team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the planning and production of design documents for infrastructure projects, including terminal aprons, runways, taxiways, utility systems, pavement structures, and safety/construction phasing.
- Assist in delivering design solutions for both commercial and general aviation facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on unique and technically challenging projects.
- Participate in all phases of project development, including design, permitting, and construction support.
- Prepare visual and technical exhibits for client presentations and internal reviews.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in site development and grading; exposure to aviation-related projects is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with corridor modeling is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $63,000 to $94,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
