GOBHI has an immediate opening for a full-time Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist. This remote position will be based out of the employee’s home located in the state of Oregon.
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist supports GOBHI and its network of Community Mental Health Programs (CMHPs) by assisting with the recruitment and targeted sourcing for behavioral health professionals. The specialist leads recruitment operations using systems such as Paylocity Recruiting and BHcareers.org, sources high-quality talent for CMHP’s, and sources top-tier candidates and customer-service-driven hiring experience.
Essential duties include:
- Assists with the recruitment process for assigned roles across CMHP partners; job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, onboarding.
- Proactively sources candidates using targeted job boards, professional networks, social media, referrals, and other channels.
- Screens applications and resumes for required qualifications (e.g., licensure, behavioral health experience).
- Serves as primary recruitment contact for hiring managers within the CMHP network.
- Delivers high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders: understands hiring needs, defines candidate profiles, and advises on recruitment strategy.
- Maintains accurate records in Paylocity and ensures compliance with process and regulatory standards.
- Generates recruitment metrics and reports to monitor time-to-fill, source-effectiveness, candidate engagement, hiring manager satisfaction.
- Ensures recruitment practices adhere to GOBHI policy, CMHP standards, EEOC, ADA and Oregon labor laws.
- Schedules interviews, assessment sessions, site visits as needed; coordinate between candidates and hiring teams.
- Represents GOBHI at virtual/in-person recruitment events, community workforce initiatives-with an emphasis on delivering an excellent organizational “front-door” experience.

Requirements
What is needed to succeed in this role:
- Three years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition preferably in behavioral health.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills, ability to interact professionally, build rapport with candidates and clients, responsive and helpful communication.
- Experience using Paylocity Recruitment or a comparable ATS.
- Familiarity with job boards and sourcing platforms (e.g., BHcareers.org, or other behavioral health/clinical oriented boards).
- Knowledge of Oregon behavioral health workforce environment and CMHP operations.
- Proficiency in DEI-focused hiring practices and inclusive recruitment strategies preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, time-management, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite software.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- HR Certification preferred (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, or Talen Acquisition certification).
