Job Description:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Care Staff Manager (Care Team Leader/ Supervisor), also known as Living Support Manager to join our dynamic team at St Vincent’s Care Services Maroochydore. In this role you will report directly to the Facility Manager and will be a member the Senior Leadership Team comprising Facility Manager, Clinical Manager and Hospitality Services Manager’s. The role will showcase your unique ability to work collaboratively with other members of the senior team whilst leading and guiding the Living Support/ Care staff Team to support our residents by providing daily personal care enabling residents’ choices and preferences through daily lifestyle activities.
To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about providing care that is sensitive to individual resident needs and preferences – care that is kind, compassionate and embraces all aspects of individualised care and choice.
You need to have full knowledge and understanding of the current Age Care Quality Standards, along with strong communication, organisational and leadership skills and have the ability to inspire those around you to go the extra distance to provide the best of care, care that is from the heart. Whether you have a clinical background or come from a strong non-clinical leadership role, you bring a solid understanding of contemporary aged care service delivery and a passion for leading and supporting care teams.
Please note this role is working 4 days a week Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

Things that work for us:
Previous leadership experience in an aged care home
Must have full knowledge and understanding of the current Age Care Quality Standards
Ability to work on a permanent part time basis
Advanced communications skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to meet competing and challenging priorities
Have demonstrated abilities in change management processes
An understanding on coaching, training and developing teams and team culture
Registration with a professional body or tertiary qualifications and experience in human or community services
An understanding of the culture and tradition of Catholic Health, including a commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the organisation and an ability to promote the behavioural expectations in line with this philosophy
NDIS check will be a requirement for this role
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
