Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdWe’re looking for an experienced Data Migration Lead to join our team at our Sime Office in Melbourne Street, South Brisbane. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Data Migration Lead at Sime Industrial, you will oversee data related activities including data migration readiness and execution, data modelling and cleansing, data environment setup, data security and compliance as part of our division wide ERP and Dealer Management System migration program.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Develop Data Migration Strategy: Plan and execute migration from legacy systems, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.
- Lead Data Migration Activities: Oversee readiness and execution, including mapping, cleansing, transforming, and validating data.
- Modernize Enterprise Infrastructure: Design data platform architecture and create transition roadmaps to support modernization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships, address concerns, and ensure alignment across projects.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and propose creative solutions.
- Drive Performance & Accountability: Motivate teams, hold self and others accountable, and deliver on commitments.
- Contribute to Strategy: Operate effectively in ambiguous situations and adapt to change.
What you’ll need:
- Advanced in business requirements analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong planning and organizing skills for workflow optimization and resource management.
- Expertise in architecture design and IT integration (Azure DevOps, CI/CD).
- Advanced in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Skilled in business process improvement and strategic direction.
- Experience in enterprise readiness assessment and compliance.
- Proficient in data control and migration (ETL, data pipeline design).
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) and substantial relevant experience.
