We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition to lead high-quality hiring initiatives across multiple business functions. This role is ideal for a people-centric recruiter with strong leadership skills, hands-on expertise in full-cycle talent acquisition, and proven success in managing a high-performing recruitment team. The ideal candidate will bring 5–9 years of experience spanning startup, product, corporate, and leadership hiring environments.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including role scoping, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection, salary negotiations, and onboarding.
- Partner with business heads and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored talent strategies.
- Manage hiring across diverse business lines including product, analytics, technology, corporate functions, sales, and support roles.
- Lead and execute recruitment for critical, niche, and leadership-level positions, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates.
- Champion diversity hiring initiatives by developing inclusive sourcing strategies that align with organizational DEI goals.
2. Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Implement innovative sourcing techniques such as social hiring, referral programs, Boolean search, talent communities, and market mapping.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong internal and external talent pipelines for current and future requirements.
- Leverage data-driven insights to assess sourcing channel performance and optimize recruitment effectiveness.
3. Team Building & People Management
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters while fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular training, performance feedback, and guidance to ensure team alignment with hiring goals and organizational expectations.
- Motivate the team to meet ambitious hiring targets while maintaining excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.
4. Stakeholder & Candidate Experience Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, offering market insights, hiring trends, competitor analysis, and data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure seamless coordination between recruitment, HR operations, and business teams.
- Maintain high standards of candidate engagement, ensuring transparency, timely communication, and a positive hiring journey.
5. Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
- Track and report key hiring metrics such as TAT, source effectiveness, offer-to-join ratios, and pipeline progress.
- Present weekly and monthly recruitment dashboards using data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, data protection standards, and audit requirements.
- Utilize ATS and HRMS tools effectively to maintain accurate and updated candidate databases.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment, team handling, and stakeholder management.
- Strong expertise in product hiring, startup hiring, internal hiring, analytics hiring, corporate hiring, and diversity hiring.
- Demonstrated success in leadership hiring and managing recruitment for high-impact roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics tools.
- Ability to build and lead a high-performing recruitment team.
