The Role

Property and Support services is the engine room that keeps us going, a dynamic team that supports the operations of Crown hotels and resorts.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Engineering team as Shift Supervisor. The purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment throughout Crown Perth, including electrical and hydraulic systems together with the management of technologies associated with the Building Automation System (BAS) systems, and overall oversight of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests by:

  • Triaging and managing CMMS requests
  • Carrying out tasks as directed by the Building Services Manager
  • Training and mentoring other Engineering Team Members
  • Provide information to Senior Managers on work related issues that would affect the business
  • Contributes to reducing operating costs through sound preventative maintenance practices

About You

You’ll bring the following:

  • Cultivate strong relationships and foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or relatable role
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • 3-5 years experience in operational or facility management
  • Experience in dealing with financial reports and statistics
  • Experience in dealing with customer service monitoring software
  • Experience with resource scheduling software

  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts during the weekdays and weekends 
  • Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience
  • O365 inclusing MS teams proficiency
  • Facility Management experience is highly desirable.
