The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role as Senior Analyst, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) within our Technology Security Assurance Team. You’ll be at the forefront of cybersecurity strategy; guiding the Agency’s risk management, compliance and security initiatives. This is your chance to lead, innovate, and leave your mark. Working alongside senior stakeholders as Senior Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to manage risk registers, provide expert knowledge and align tech solutions with robust security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Deliver: Drive major security projects from concept to completion, leveraging Agile methodologies and project management expertise.
Consult & Influence: Partner with business owners, technology teams and asset owners to design and implement cutting-edge security solutions.
Shape Policy: Develop and uplift security policies, standards and procedures while championing best practices and continuous improvement.
Govern & Assure: Build and maintain a robust governance framework, delivering insightful reporting and ensuring compliance with federal requirements (Essential Eight, PSPF).
Benchmark & Innovate: Stay ahead of emerging threats, benchmark against industry leaders and bring fresh ideas to security assurance at the Future Fund.
About You
Experience within Cyber Security GRC, and exposure to security risk assessments.
Hands-on expertise in identity and access management (IAM), authentication (SSO/MFA), risk remediation (e.g., orphan accounts) or threat attack vectors will be highly regarded.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationships building skills.
Advanced analytical sense, high attention to detail, and a quality results-based approach.
Industry certification in information security is preferred and a relevant technical or business degree advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
Open to feedback, new ideas, and continuous learning.
