POSITION SUMMARY
Required skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our team in the production of windshield washer pumps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various components of the pump, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform spot welding, riveting, and screwing fasteners to assemble pump components.
- Manually assemble small, sensitive components such as O-rings and gaskets.
- Apply lubricants to specific parts as required.
- Conduct testing using mechanical testers to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Operate production equipment including spot welders, riveters, pneumatic presses, and testers.
- Handle and manage small spills of washer fluid safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required
- Experience in manual assembly and use of power tools.
- Ability to operate production equipment such as spot welders, riveters, pneumatic presses, and testers.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with small, sensitive components.
- Basic understanding of mechanical testing procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar assembly role.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
