Position Overview:
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store, provide leadership to our baristas, and maintain the high standards Scooter's Coffee is known for. You’ll help drive sales, inventory control, maintain a positive store environment, and ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Assist in coaching, and mentoring a team of baristas to provide outstanding customer service.
Customer Experience: Ensure all customers have a positive and welcoming experience while maintaining the quality of our products.
Operational Excellence: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and inventory control.
Sales & Profitability: Assist in meeting or exceeding store sales goals by promoting products and optimizing store performance.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the store adheres to health, safety, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Scooters Coffee policies and local regulations.
Team Morale & Communication: Foster a positive work environment with open communication and team-building initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry.
Customer-Focused: Strong customer service skills and the ability to connect with people.
Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively with a team and motivate others.
Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Ability to handle challenges, problem-solve, and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
