Your Mission
The Event Coordinator will play a key role in supporting SBS CyberSecurity’s event strategy by centralizing the selection, coordination, planning, and execution of the company’s participation in tradeshows, conferences, and other external events. This position resides within the marketing department and collaborates closely with various teams to ensure brand consistency, operational efficiency, and enhanced internal collaboration.

What You’ll Do
Pre-Event Planning and Coordination
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify target events and define objectives for each tradeshow or conference.
- Manage event registration, deadlines, and compliance with event organizer requirements.
- Coordinate logistics including promotional materials and product displays.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and event organizers.
- Ensure sales team members are equipped with necessary materials, demos, and talking points.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all internal event inquiries, ensuring streamlined communication and alignment across departments.
- Develop and implement booth setup and teardown standards, ensuring brand standards are maintained.
- Assist in troubleshooting onsite issues and adapt plans as needed.
- Travel to larger events to support booth management, as needed.
Post-Event Follow-Up
- Collect and organize leads generated at the event for the sales team.
- Assist in coordinating post-event communications, including thank-you emails, follow-up meetings, and drip campaigns.
- Develop and analyze post-event reports and gather feedback to inform future participation strategies.
Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a centralized calendar of events and deadlines, tracking participation, costs, and ROI metrics.
- Build and maintain a proactive event operations framework to reduce redundancy, last-minute stress, and reactive spending.
- Use data-driven insights to make future event decisions more strategic and measurable.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Public Relations, Business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience and/or a recognized certification will also be considered.
- Required 3+ years of experience in event coordination, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, and resource utilization skills, a must.
- Demonstrated experience in logistics management, cost controls and project implementation.
- Experience with CRM systems, event management software, Microsoft Suite, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus points if you:
- Familiarity with AI writing tools and platforms.
- Experience in a technical or cybersecurity-related field.

Additional Details
This is a full-time position. This role would require occasional travel. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. On rare occasions, this position may require some after-work hours due to workload or tight deadline.
Working Conditions
Primarily remote-based with some travel required. The role involves working with management, various business units, and clients to protect data and information from cyber-attacks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to sit, use keyboard and mouse (or alternative input device), use telephone, and drive. Employee will frequently lift 0-10 lbs and occasionally lift, up to 50 lbs.
Travel
This position requires up to 25% travel. Valid driver’s license required. Must also qualify for SBS insurance coverage.
