Position Purpose
Under general supervision of the Team Supervisor, this associate will be responsible for carrying out the Delicato Sanitation program for the Bottling Department.
Functional Responsibility
Essential Duties
- Provides oversite and training of team members assigned or tasked to complete Environmental Sanitation tasks.
- Follows all Delicato safety rules regarding the use of Sanitation Chemicals
- Follows all practices in the Delicato Sanitation Manual
- Cleans all production lines that have been used during the day
- Makes sure that the production lines that will be used the following shift are cleaned and ready
- Coordinates sanitation work with the Production and Maintenance Crew so that Sanitation, Production and Maintenance can complete their assignments during the shift
- Performs duties of a General Line Technician if needed
- Works on production line as needed
- Works on special projects assigned by the Team Supervisor
- Maybe assigned to other Delicato Departments as needed

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience and familiarity with production line principles is desirable
- 2+ years in sanitation technician role or comparative role
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals is helpful, proper lifting technique, Safety principles and GMP knowledge is a plus

Working Conditions
High percentage of time spent on the production floor exposed to varying levels of equipment noise and temperature fluctuation based on the seasons

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
