Join our cybersecurity team as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in protecting critical networks by identifying, analyzing, and communicating potential threats. In this position, you’ll provide actionable intelligence and tactical context on adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to support Network Security Monitoring (NSM) and Incident Response (IR) operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze threat data from multiple sources to identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Review daily cyber threat warnings, alerts, and incident reports to assess potential impact to the environment.
- Research and track adversary activity, including intrusion sets and evolving TTPs.
- Communicate findings to partner agencies regarding intrusions, compromises, and remediation recommendations.
- Develop and deliver cyber threat assessments and coordinate tracking with internal and external partners.
- Prepare detailed investigation and intelligence reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain and update internal documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with CJCSM 6510.01B and other applicable DoD or federal directives.
- Participate in program reviews, system certifications, and product evaluations.
- Support surge operations and incident response during high-priority events.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or technical college.
- Compliance with DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification requirements.
- Meets DoD Cybersecurity Network Defense (CND) certification standards.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or related areas.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in writing intelligence products for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical ability to identify threat actor patterns and emerging cyber trends.
- Skilled at conducting online research across open and restricted sources.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and network communications.
- Experience using tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Palantir, Shodan, Augury, TAC, or Analyst Notebook.
- Excellent communication skills to brief leadership and coordinate with intelligence community partners.
- Strong initiative and interest in advancing cybersecurity and intelligence tradecraft.
