About the Team:
The Grocery Outlet Store Support team is here to enable our Independent Operators and Aspiring Operators in Training (AOTs) to be successful Operators. We do this by providing world-class Project Management, Training, Communication, and Support services so our Independent Operators can focus on what matters: their families, business, customers, and communities. We build strong relationships with our Operators by being transparent and collaborative in all that we do and by looking for ways to improve the operator experience continuously.
About the Role:
This highly visible and exciting role offers an opportunity to drive key cross-functional projects that significantly impact our Independent Operators. We are looking for an energetic, collaborative-minded leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, a background in project management, and strong communication skills. This role reports to the Director - Operator Initiatives.
Responsibilities Include:
- Owning project planning, coordination, and management of ad hoc and recurring projects, including cross-functional process optimization initiatives
- Defining and validating any applicable business requirements, activities, milestones, deliverables, and success measures within the project scope
- Managing several small to medium internal business projects (i.e., process improvement, technology) and staying agile and adapting work as needed
- Facilitating meetings and successfully managing virtual project teams
- Maintaining open communications between project teams, business partners, and project sponsors
- Providing project status, weekly status reports, and other admin tasks as needed
- Communicate risks and lead resolution of project issues to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction expectations
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions to improve future projects
The Pay:
- Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 Annually

About You:
- 3+ years of overall hands-on Project Manager experience
- Knowledge and experience of project management standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, and tools
- Proven experience in the preparation of project plans, meeting notes, and presentations
- Must have strong leadership and influencing qualities along with the ability to communicate, set expectations, and hold team members accountable
- A self-starter with an ownership and results oriented mindset
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Detailed-oriented with a strong client or customer management experience skillset
- Strong proficiency with M.S. Office and project management software (Asana, MS Project, etc.)
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational/prioritization skills with attention to detail
- Strong track record of driving a project to successful completion
