Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Building Automation Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Building Automation Project Manager, you will learn how to oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of building automation projects in Orlando and Occasionally Tampa. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements. This role requires excellent project management, technical expertise, and strong communication skills.

Pay Scale: $55,000-$80,000
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating building automation projects
  • Assist with tracking budgets, timelines, and project changes
  • Help coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare status updates
  • Conduct site visits and help ensure project quality and safety
  • Collaborate with technical staff to support design, installation, and troubleshooting
     

Qualifications


  • Background in commercial HVAC or building automation systems and controls (a plus)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Solid problem-solving and time management abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of project documentation and technical drawings
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards
  • Familiarity with project management tools (a plus)
