Parkwest Casino is bringing a fresh face to the casino industry. To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a Lead Security Guard.  Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Lead Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.

Responsibilities:

1. The Lead Security Guard will serve as the primary contact for floor personnel and management in the absence of the Security Manager.
2. A successful Lead Security Guard will be able to effectively conduct security training and mentorship for Security Officers.
3. Must ensure all security reports (BOLO’s) are completed in a timely manner and are written professionally and accurately.
4. Ability to assist Security Manager with the weekly schedule when requested, and help ensure necessary coverage is maintained.
5. Must serve as the example for Security Officers in the execution of their duties.
6. Guest service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them on a daily basis. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.

Physical and mental requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
• Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
• Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
