Parkwest Casino is bringing a fresh face to the casino industry. To help aid in the creation of this new casino culture, Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a Lead Security Guard. Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Lead Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.
Responsibilities:- The Lead Security Guard will serve as the primary contact for floor personnel and management in the absence of the Security Manager.
- A successful Lead Security Guard will be able to effectively conduct security training and mentorship for Security Officers.
- Must ensure all security reports (BOLO’s) are completed in a timely manner and are written professionally and accurately.
- Ability to assist Security Manager with the weekly schedule when requested, and help ensure necessary coverage is maintained.
- Must serve as the example for Security Officers in the execution of their duties.

- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
Physical and mental requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
- Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
- Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
