DOXA is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead sales strategy and revenue growth across within our KidGuard Insurance division.
KidGuard Insurance is a leading provider of Student Accident insurance, serving over 400,000 students across more than 1,000 public and private schools across the entire United States.
This leader will build and execute KidGuard’s national distribution strategy, deepen and scale broker partnerships, and drive new business growth for our student accident insurance portfolio of products.
The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise in A&H distribution, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for building scalable, repeatable sales processes in a fast-paced, PE-backed, entrepreneurial environment.
Vice President of Sales – Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Leadership
- Build and execute KidGuard sales strategy across multiple specialty product lines – group, voluntary, Cat, and Special Risk.
- Translate organizational growth goals into actionable sales plans, production targets, and pipeline strategies.
- Develop scalable sales processes, forecasting models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
Distribution & Broker Relationship Management
- Serve as KidGuard’s face to national/regional/local brokers, consultants, MGUs, MGAs, and distribution networks.
- Strengthen existing broker relationships and activate new ones to expand KidGuard’s market footprint.
- Oversee producer onboarding and ensure seamless integration with DOXA’s various other business units.
New Business Production & Revenue Ownership
- Own production targets.
- Lead sales execution for large strategic opportunities, including national RFPs and pitch development.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the KidGuard and DOXA ecosystems.
Market Development & Product Expansion
- Partner with underwriting, marketing, and entity leadership to develop and launch new programs and products.
- Gather and interpret market intelligence to influence product competitiveness and roadmap decisions.
- Support the development of innovative insurance offerings across KidGuard and its carrier partner’s portfolio of offerings.
Internal Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with executive leadership and DOXA entity leaders to ensure alignment on growth priorities.
- Champion DOXA’s values, culture, and client-first mentality across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in Accident & Health, affinity, voluntary benefits, or specialty insurance distribution.
- Proven success managing multi-state or national broker networks and achieving/exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrated expertise in product lines such as student accident, CAT, special risk, and specialty A&H programs.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with underwriting, operations, marketing, and product teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build trust at all leadership levels.
- Exceptional relationship-management skills with brokers, MGUs, MGAs, and carrier partners.
- Proficient in CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
- Life & Health license required (or ability to obtain).
