MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Project Manager to join our team in the Tampa, FL commuting area. This is a unique opportunity to join our tightly knit team supporting the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in the implementation and deployment of an OneStream software solution and maintaining its legacy Hyperion solution until changeover. Candidate should be local to the Tampa area.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with overall program goalsDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcesLead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentProactively identify and mitigate project risks and issuesMonitor project progress and take corrective action as needed to maintain alignment with objectivesOversee project deliverables and ensure quality meets client expectations.Communicate project status updates to stakeholders effectivelyPlan, staff, budget, and direct one or more project(s) to ensure the timely delivery of contractual commitments to customersObtains customer validation of outcomes achieved, and ROI delivered Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field coupled with 8+ years software and/or finance experience10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the IT or Government contracting sector.Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Resource Allocation Plan (RAP) development, Acquisition Program Management to a Level I/II/III/ACAT program of record, or related experienceProven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budgetStrong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related fieldConsulting experience with federal departments, agencies, and organizationsInformation systems project management experienceGeneral knowledge of federal financial management processes and requirementsExperience consulting or delivering solutions to federal clientsExperience in the Department of Defense's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processSecurity Clearance Requirements:US citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearancePhysical Requirements:The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
