Job Summary
The Physician Compensation Specialist will serve as a resource for the physician services team and operations administrators. Responsibilities include assisting in the accurate and timely processing of physician, APP, and CRNA (“provider”) payroll and assisting with efficient, effective administration and maintenance of provider compensation.Monument Health offers competitive wages and benefits on qualifying positions. Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Primary on APP recruitment requests including correspondence with the recruiting team, initial equity placement, and drafting the compensation request.
- Responsible for monthly run, save, and distribution of department reports including payroll reports – APP and Physician, charge details, and updating monthly production sheets.
- Responsible for maintenance of compensation opinions catalog.
- Responsible for maintenance of department tracking sheets including master provider list, provider tracking sheet, retention bonus tracking, Meditract critical dates.
- Responsible for periodic Patient Experience incentive data updates.
- Primary on department external survey submissions such as APP and CRNA compensation survey, Physician compensation survey, Call Pay survey, Medical Director survey, and ad hoc Pulse surveys.
- Responsible for maintenance of the Provider reference card.
- Assists with the review and completion of semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy of payments processed.
- Assists with the accurate and timely preparation of provider compensation calculations, financial reporting, and provider productivity related performance reports.
- Assists with researching and responding to physician and management queries regarding physician compensation and production.
- Assists with monthly and annual reconciliation of physician compensation to comply with employment agreement terms.
- All other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - Bachelors degree
Preferred:
Experience - 3+ years of Healthcare Experience
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
